Job Summary

This role is a key component within the Embedded-PC (EPC) Product Management team, focusing on the support and marketing of the new Linux operating system across Embedded and Industrial PC (IPC) platforms. The specialist will serve as the primary internal and external contact for Linux-related inquiries, working closely with service, support, sales, and international product specialists. Day-to-day tasks involve testing and approving TwinCAT and system components for Linux, creating custom Linux OS configurations, and assisting with overall operating system configuration. The ideal candidate must possess a completed IT Specialist apprenticeship or equivalent qualification, extensive experience in Linux system administration, networking, and container technologies like Docker. Excellent communication skills and fluency in both German and English (C1 level) are mandatory for effective stakeholder interaction in this international, high-tech environment.
