Job Summary

This role is for an Electrical Engineer working for a renowned distribution network operator in Bad Bentheim, focusing on the crucial task of connecting new customer systems to the power grid. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing technical solutions and designing network connections and precise metering systems for a diverse range of clients, from large industrial consumers to modern infrastructure like EV charging stations and renewable energy plants (wind/solar). A significant part of the job involves managing the entire connection process, from initial technical conception and contract drafting through to the finalization of network connection and usage agreements. Furthermore, you will be responsible for handling complex energy industry inquiries related to regulatory topics such as Redispatch 2.0, feed-in tariffs, and crisis preparedness in the gas sector. The ideal candidate holds a university degree in a relevant field like Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Law, and ideally possesses knowledge of grid operation, energy industry regulations, and project management methodologies. This is a full-time, permanent position offering the opportunity to contribute expertise to key organizational projects involving the implementation of new legal and technical standards.
