IT Consultant / Computer Scientist (SAP Supply Chain) | Informatiker (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves acting as an internal consultant within the corporate IT function, focusing on the development and customization of SAP ERP systems globally, specifically within the Supply Chain environment for ZEISS Business Units. The professional will serve as a technical bridge to specialized departments, advising international SAP Key Users and managing external IT partners when necessary. A key focus area is the mapping and development of sales processes across all business units in SAP ERP, with a specialization in pricing and output tax mapping using SAP ERP and the Vertex Tax Engine. The consultant will also play a crucial role in the transformation of the current SAP landscape to SAP S/4HANA using a Greenfield approach, managing the entire solution lifecycle from conception through implementation, training, and support. This position requires strong expertise in SAP SD, project management skills (both agile and traditional), and participation in global M&A and SAP rollout projects.
