Job Summary

This role is pivotal in driving the integration of photonic integrated circuits (PIC) technology into innovative products within a dynamic, corporate-backed startup environment at ZEISS. The successful candidate will be responsible for establishing the operational and organizational backbone of the startup, developing strategic roadmaps, and continuously evaluating ongoing innovation activities regarding budget, timing, and impact. Day-to-day activities involve identifying new business opportunities, coordinating multiple strategic projects within the PIC field, and managing key relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including the Senior Expert Team and CRT Leadership. Key qualifications include a Master’s degree in science, engineering, or economics, proven professional experience in dynamic settings, and multi-year experience leading complex projects.
