Job Summary

The Operations Engineer for Building Technology acts as the technical engine and primary point of contact for production operations at the Penzberg site. This role involves actively shaping the operational running of the site, ensuring efficient operation and plant availability through innovative solutions, and serving as a Technical Business Partner responsible for sustainable asset management. Day-to-day tasks include managing the technical operations of building and process-related auxiliary systems, proactively coordinating technical services with internal and external partners, and ensuring technical systems comply with the state-of-the-art technology, minimizing risks through analyses (e.g., ATEX, SIL testing). The ideal candidate holds a degree or advanced technical qualification in a relevant engineering field, possesses professional experience in technical environments, and is proficient in project management, GxP regulations, and ERP systems like SAP. This is a crucial role ensuring the technical integrity and economic control of building operations within a dynamic industrial environment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's, Master's, or Diploma degree in a technical field (Building Technology, Facility Management, Plant Engineering, Process Engineering, or comparable), or advanced technical qualification as a Technician/Master in the aforementioned fields.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in a technical environment
  • Initial experience with explosion protection (Explosionsschutz)
  • Experience in the construction, maintenance, and operation of building technology systems and process-related auxiliary systems in an industrial environment
  • Preferred experience in pharmaceutical and chemical production
