The Junior Developer will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing innovative products and protective devices within the energy and electrical installation sectors. Key daily tasks include planning, executing, and evaluating type tests and certifications, as well as designing crucial connection, contact, and tripping systems. Working in a highly motivated international team in Regensburg, the successful candidate must stay current with technology trends and evaluate their strategic applicability. Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, coupled with initial professional experience (e.g., internships) in electromechanical development and low-voltage power distribution systems. Strong analytical skills, solution-oriented thinking, and excellent communication abilities are essential for navigating this dynamic environment.

Experience

  • Initial professional experience in electromechanical development of protection, switching, and control devices (e.g., internships or working student roles)

  • Willingness to work in electrical development and testing laboratories
  • Willingness to acquire knowledge of relevant international standards (Product, Safety, EMC)
