This key position focuses on ensuring the legally compliant, efficient, and cost-optimized management of the company's IT software licenses. The role is dual-focused: primarily managing software licenses and contracts, ensuring compliance, preparing for audits, and advising internal stakeholders on licensing strategies. A significant portion of the role (approximately 20%) involves acting as an IT Support Engineer, providing 1st and 2nd level support for the existing IT ServiceDesk team, particularly concerning topics like Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in IT or a comparable qualification, coupled with at least three years of practical experience in IT support and proven expertise in Software Asset Management (SAM) and common licensing models (e.g., Microsoft, VMware). This role requires strong analytical skills, structured work methods, and excellent communication abilities to collaborate effectively across departments and with external software vendors.
