Job Summary

This critical role involves working as an Analysis Engineer within a dynamic, cross-functional team, focusing on the development of next-generation vehicle safety features for Tesla. The core responsibility is to develop and optimize finite element models for both crash and durability load cases, performing detailed linear and nonlinear structural analysis on components ranging from subsystems to complete vehicles. You will specifically verify computer simulations related to frontal crash, side impact, roof strength, and HV battery systems against various global safety standards (like FMVSS and EuroNCAP). A key part of the job is challenging established CAE methods to improve efficiency and accuracy, utilizing tools such as ANSA, LS-DYNA, and META to optimize vehicle performance. The ideal candidate possesses detailed knowledge of Finite Element Analysis, Applied Solid Mechanics, and experience with Occupant Analysis methods, thriving on delivering complex projects under tight timing constraints.
