Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced Design Engineer to drive the development and maintenance of AutoGyro’s core 3D SolidWorks environment for their gyroplane aircraft models. The engineer will be responsible for creating complete SolidWorks models, detailed production drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for structures, fairings, and mechanical/electrical systems. A core function is ensuring design data is transferable for production facilities and supports the creation of the 3D Illustrated Parts Catalogue (IPC), manufacturing process sheets, and maintenance documentation. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering, proven expertise in SolidWorks, and a sound understanding of manufacturing processes (metal, composites, machining). Success requires fluency (C1 minimum) in both English and German, along with knowledge of international aviation compliance standards (CAA, FAA, CAAC).
