Job Summary

This role involves joining an international team dedicated to developing innovative sensor solutions for Quality Control Systems (QCS) within the global pulp and paper industry. The Development Engineer will be responsible for leading key development projects, designing, optimizing, and implementing new measurement applications and sensor systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency. A core part of the job involves identifying new applications for existing technology and conducting rigorous tests and field trials, both in-house and directly at customer sites. The ideal candidate holds an advanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Physics or Electrical Engineering, specializing in sensor systems and embedded electronics, and possesses strong analytical and communication skills. This position offers the opportunity to shape the future of paper manufacturing within a major global technology company, requiring solid English proficiency and a willingness to work on-site.
