Job Summary
This role seeks an engaged Electrical Engineer to manage and drive complex construction and renovation projects within the University of Hildesheim's building management department. The successful candidate will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of electrical engineering and building automation projects, from initial concept and planning through tendering, construction supervision, and final handover to operations. Key responsibilities include coordinating external planning offices and contractors, ensuring energy-efficient and sustainable design, and acting as the university's representative (client). Candidates must possess a university degree in Electrical or Energy Engineering and proven expertise in the planning and supervision of electrical systems. Strong organizational skills, a structured, solution-oriented approach, and fluent German (C1 level) are mandatory for effective communication and project leadership. This position offers an unlimited contract, flexible working arrangements, and the opportunity to shape the future infrastructure of a major public institution.

Completed university degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or related engineering sciences
Experience
- Professional expertise in the planning, tendering, or construction supervision of electrotechnical systems
- Desirable experience in construction or technical building equipment (TGA)
- Advantageous knowledge of public procurement law (VOB, HOAI)
