Job Summary

This role involves serving as a central Python Developer within the TECLION AI Competence Center of the Kassel Tax Office, actively shaping the digital transformation of public administration. The core responsibilities include developing robust, scalable, and maintainable Python applications, particularly in collaboration with Data Scientists to create AI-driven solutions. Day-to-day tasks involve implementing Python applications as containerized microservices, managing interfaces (e.g., using Flask or FastAPI), and overseeing process implementations for scaling AI functionalities, including job scheduling and load balancing. The ideal candidate possesses a degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience, strong proficiency in Python and unit testing, and familiarity with containerization (Docker), MLOps, CI/CD pipelines, and tools like Streamlit or Gradio.
