Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Datacenter and Internal Services Engineer to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of IT service incidents and requests (1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support). Key responsibilities include qualifying, analyzing, and resolving service tickets within the ITSM system, ensuring meticulous documentation of all activities, and managing critical escalations. The engineer will be responsible for proactive datacenter operations, including data backup routines, and the installation and configuration of client devices and peripherals. A crucial part of the job involves professional coordination with internal teams and external service providers to achieve resolution. Candidates must possess fundamental knowledge of system administration, specifically within datacenter infrastructure and internal IT services, coupled with practical experience using IT Service Management systems and ITIL processes. Success requires high problem-solving capability, strong communication skills, initiative, and fluency in German alongside good English proficiency.
