Job Summary
This part-time position (10 hours/week) as a Chemical Laboratory Technician involves conducting essential scientific-technical work and providing crucial organizational and technical support to a research group focusing on biomedical aging, with a specific interest in skin biology. The role is based at the Research Institute for Biomedical Aging Research in Innsbruck, starting January 1, 2026. Candidates must possess a high school diploma (Matura or equivalent) and specialized training as a medical-technical specialist or comparable qualification. Key requirements include practical experience in cell culture techniques and proficiency in standard molecular biology methods. Successful applicants must demonstrate strong organizational skills, accuracy, reliability, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Good written and spoken English skills are mandatory, alongside basic PC proficiency using MS Office.
