Job Summary

This role seeks an experienced (Senior) AI Consultant to drive digital transformation projects, primarily within the Public and Health sectors. The consultant will be instrumental in identifying AI potential, developing conceptual input-output models, and designing value-adding solutions—ranging from ML-based applications to Generative AI systems—focused on automating administrative processes and ensuring state future-readiness. Day-to-day tasks involve advising clients on AI use cases, analyzing data landscapes, and potentially providing hands-on support in multidisciplinary teams (with Developers and DevOps specialists). The ideal candidate possesses strong knowledge of Data Science (ML/GenAI), AI platform architecture (Cloud/On-premise), data preparation, RAG pipelines, and MLOps. Success requires the ability to translate complex technical concepts into understandable terms for non-technical audiences and a passion for continuous knowledge transfer within the team.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Business Informatics, Mathematics, Data Science, or comparable qualification

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in Data Science (Machine Learning or Generative AI)
  • Application experience with data preparation, Data, and RAG pipelines (including unstructured data)
  • Knowledge of strategic decisions regarding AI platform architecture (Cloud, On-premise, Microservices)
  • Technical understanding of Cloud infrastructure and necessary hardware

Languages

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Interest in the digitalization of the public sector or health sector; May require a confidential security check depending on the position
