Job Summary
This role involves supporting and developing clinical IT applications within a major hospital environment. The Application Administrator will serve as a key consultant for end-users, addressing IT inquiries, developing solutions, and establishing operational standards. A core focus includes process modeling in collaboration with clinical staff and supporting the selection, development, and operation of clinical applications based on the latest technological standards, particularly those involving Medical Imaging and Workflows. The successful candidate will also manage IT projects, ensuring successful implementation, often utilizing agile methodologies, and maintain system integration, specifically focusing on data flow using standards like HL7 and DICOM. This position requires strong problem-solving skills, customer orientation, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration or equivalent qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in the administration of application systems in a clinical environment
- Professional experience in Medical Imaging & Workflows (ideal)
- Professional experience in the implementation and support of IT solutions in the healthcare sector
- Successful and independent implementation of IT projects in a hospital environment
