Job Summary

This role involves joining a stable, mid-sized engineering firm on a permanent contract to execute specialized projects for prestigious clients. The Electrical Engineering Engineer will focus on the engineering and design of active and passive solutions, specifically reactive power compensation and harmonic filters, operating in the high voltage range (> 1 kV). Key responsibilities include acting as the primary technical contact for clients, suppliers, and manufacturing planners, as well as creating, revising, and reviewing circuit diagrams and other system documentation. A crucial part of the job involves conducting factory acceptance tests with manufacturing partners and commissioning the systems on the customer's site. The ideal candidate must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering, practical experience with schematic creation software (like EPLAN/COMOS), and familiarity with PLC programming (Step7, TIA) and HMI parameterization (WinCC). Fluent German and good English skills are required, along with a willingness to undertake occasional business travel.
