Job Summary

This role requires a skilled PLC Project Planner to provide crucial technical support during the project preparation phase, ensuring quality and identifying potential issues early, before automation specialists begin implementation. Day-to-day responsibilities include supporting decisions on layout, process flows, and feasibility, creating and reviewing Visio drawings, defining material flows, and clarifying technical interfaces. A key function is preparing the foundational TIA Portal project and necessary tools, developing functional descriptions for the automation team, and setting up the basic project documentation from an automation perspective. The ideal candidate holds a Technician or Engineering degree, possesses multi-year experience in conveyor technology automation, and demonstrates profound knowledge of the Siemens TIA Portal.
