Job Summary
This permanent, full-time role as a Signal Technician involves the critical inspection and maintenance of railway signaling infrastructure. Day-to-day tasks include testing adjustment parameters for signal circuits, switch drives, and track circuits, ensuring optimal function and safety. You will also be responsible for the functional testing of lighting systems for switches and main/subsidiary signals, as well as checking parameters for complex level crossing systems, including induction loops, barrier drives, and axle counting circuits. The ideal candidate possesses completed vocational training in an electrical engineering discipline, a Class B driving license, and a strong sense of responsibility to make timely decisions, even in ambiguous situations.
