Job Summary

This role seeks an ambitious PLC Programming and Commissioning Engineer to drive technology forward by connecting people and systems for diverse clients across various industries. Day-to-day responsibilities involve the development and programming of innovative PLC controls, utilizing systems like Siemens S7 or Beckhoff TwinCAT. A core function is on-site commissioning, ensuring seamless integration and optimal functionality of controls within existing systems. The engineer will also create detailed visualizations and user interfaces using software such as WinCC or TIA Portal, perform rapid troubleshooting, and maintain precise documentation. Key qualifications include a degree in Electrical or Automation Engineering (or equivalent technical certification) and several years of professional experience in PLC programming. The position requires familiarity with specific programming languages (AWL, KOP, FUP, SCL) and a readiness for worldwide travel to customer sites for complex machine and plant commissioning.
