Job Summary

This role involves working as a Materials Tester with a focus on Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), specifically within X-ray examination, at a leading defense and security technology company, Rheinmetall, in Unterlüß. The specialist will be responsible for coordinating, executing, and evaluating X-ray examinations, including the planning and setup of testing configurations. Key daily tasks include handling explosive or dangerous components, analyzing data and images, creating detailed X-ray inspection reports, and performing preventative maintenance on X-ray systems to ensure high system availability. Candidates must possess a completed qualification as a Materials Tester or a related technical field (Electronics, Mechatronics, Industrial Mechanics), coupled with experience operating X-ray control software and specific knowledge of digital image processing programs. Required Skills

Education
