Job Summary

This role requires a dedicated Planning Engineer specializing in Overhead Catenary Systems (OCS) and Electrical Energy Systems. The core responsibilities involve executing specialized planning and project engineering tasks strictly according to German Rail (DB AG) norms and regulations. Day-to-day activities include conducting technical planning, performing on-site inspections for inventory assessment, and providing expert technical consulting. A significant part of the role involves contributing to cost planning, generating comprehensive service specifications, and preparing tender documentation for construction contracts. Furthermore, the engineer will be responsible for developing detailed construction schedules as part of the overall work preparation process. Candidates must possess a degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent qualification, ideally complemented by professional experience as a technical planner or specific experience within the OCS environment of DB AG. Success in this position requires strong teamwork, high motivation, and proficiency in relevant CAD software.
