Job Summary

The Elstertal-Infraprojekt GmbH, a 100% subsidiary of the City of Gera, is seeking a Building Control Systems Technician to manage and optimize technical building operations for municipal properties. This role involves the coordination, planning, supervision, and acceptance of maintenance, repair, and commissioning measures for building control technology, building automation, intrusion alarm systems, and fire alarm systems, maintaining high quality and cost awareness. Key responsibilities also include setting up, commissioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting automation systems, optimizing existing plant controls, and assisting in developing an energy management concept. Candidates should possess a state-certified technician qualification in electrical engineering or a successfully completed apprenticeship in the electrotechnical field, complemented by several years of professional experience in the specified tasks. The position requires a conscientious, independent, and goal-oriented approach, coupled with complex economic and technical thinking.
