Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated Service Technician to manage the field service operations for Thies weather stations, ensuring reliable data acquisition. Daily tasks involve the comprehensive lifecycle management of meteorological measuring devices, including installation, commissioning, maintenance, repair, calibration, and precise adjustment. A critical component of the role is documenting test results and providing essential training to customers on both the physical equipment and associated software applications. Candidates must possess a strong background in electronics, mechatronics, or electrical systems, demonstrating proficiency in using electronic measuring devices and interpreting complex electrical circuit diagrams. The ideal candidate is autonomous, structured, and goal-oriented, possessing the necessary physical qualification for working at heights (G41) and a Class B driving license for field travel.
