Job Summary

This specialist role focuses on the development, IT implementation, and parameterization of crucial forecast models for electricity, gas, and district heating within a liberalized energy market context. The core responsibility involves leveraging modern machine learning techniques, such as neural networks and transformers, to generate highly precise consumption and generation forecasts. Day-to-day tasks include creating, monitoring, and optimizing individual portfolio forecasts, ensuring robust data quality, and collaborating closely with IT teams to drive automation and digitization within the forecasting and portfolio management processes. Candidates should possess a university degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Administration, coupled with deep knowledge of the energy value chain. Proficiency in statistical analysis, algorithmic thinking, programming (ideally Python), and experience with specific forecasting tools are essential for success in this analytical and future-oriented position.

Required Skills
