Job Summary

This role as a Chemical Analysis Laboratory Technician involves critical quality control within a leading global pharmaceutical service provider. The successful candidate will be responsible for the release testing of starting materials and finished medicinal products, utilizing advanced chemical and physical analytical techniques such as IR, UV-VIS Spectroscopy, HPLC, GC, and IC. Day-to-day tasks include managing the entire sample lifecycle, maintaining sophisticated analytical equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and international regulatory requirements. You will also be tasked with drafting and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), supporting internal and external method transfers and validations, and providing training to colleagues. Key requirements include a recognized vocational qualification (Chemical Laboratory Technician or equivalent) or a Bachelor’s degree, coupled with strong German language skills (B2 minimum) for documentation and team communication. Required Skills

Education

Completed and German-recognized vocational training as a Technical Assistant, Chemical-Technical Assistant, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or a Bachelor's degree.

Experience

  • Professional experience in chemical and physical analytical methods (e.g., HPLC, GC, Spectroscopy)
  • Experience ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and international regulatory requirements
  • Experience in creating, reviewing, and revising Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Experience supporting method transfers, validations, and laboratory audits
