Life Science Engineer | Ingenieur Life-Science (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves contributing to the new and further development of technologically demanding products within the fields of medical technology, laboratory technology, measurement technology, and sensor technology. The Life Science Engineer will be responsible for developing physical concepts and solutions, particularly focusing on optics, light guidance, optical sensors, and spectroscopy. Key day-to-day tasks include planning, conducting, evaluating, and documenting experimental investigations and measurement campaigns, supporting the development of customer-specific applications, and translating technical requirements within interdisciplinary teams. The position requires creating technical documentation, performing risk-based assessments during product development, and optimizing development and testing processes in collaboration with production and quality assurance. Candidates must hold a degree in Physics, Optics, Engineering Sciences, or a comparable technical-natural science field, possess strong analytical thinking, and be fluent in both German and English (C1 level).
