Job Summary
This expert role focuses on planning, controlling, and monitoring essential IT services to support and optimize the business processes of clients, primarily within the automotive industry. The IT Service Manager is tasked with defining, implementing, and governing IT Service Management processes, methods, and standards, leveraging recognized frameworks such as ITIL or COBIT. A core responsibility involves creating and managing Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to guarantee the quality, availability, and security of IT services. Furthermore, the manager will lead, motivate, and develop a team of IT specialists, including system administrators and service desk personnel. Success in this position requires a completed degree in Computer Science or a related field, very strong knowledge of ITSM frameworks, excellent leadership skills, and high customer orientation, coupled with fluent proficiency in both German and English.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a related technical field. ITIL certification is advantageous.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT Service Management, IT Project Management, or a similar role (advantageous)
- Experience in leading, motivating, and developing teams of IT specialists
