Job Summary

This role is ideal for an ambitious Functional Safety Engineer passionate about automotive technology and innovation, focusing on ensuring the safety and compliance of electronic systems for leading OEMs and suppliers. Day-to-day responsibilities involve reviewing and guaranteeing safety-compliant electronics development according to industry standards like ASPICE and ISO 26262. You will be responsible for deriving and specifying precise technical safety requirements, consulting on complex functional safety concepts, and actively supporting the development life cycle of safety systems. A key aspect of the job is preparing and conducting necessary safety audits and assessments. Successful candidates must hold a technical degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics, coupled with professional experience in system engineering, system architecture, and Functional Safety Management (ISO 26262). Strong proficiency in both German and English is required to collaborate effectively across technical teams.
