Job Summary

This role seeks a skilled Physicist or Engineer to manage the external instrumentation systems for neutron flux measurement in nuclear facilities. Day-to-day responsibilities involve comprehensive System Engineering, including Requirement Management utilizing software like Cradle, and leading a small team of up to three engineers. A core function is the interdisciplinary coordination of work packages across mechanical and electrical engineering departments. The specialist will be responsible for designing nuclear measurement technology for both new constructions and existing plants, ensuring integration into the overall control system concept. Furthermore, you will standardize and execute complex scientific accuracy analyses using tools such as MATLAB, perform EMC analyses, and ensure strict conformity with international and nuclear standards (e.g., RCC-E, IEC). This position is attractive as it requires representing technical solutions before clients and regulatory authorities, demanding a strong technical foundation and excellent communication skills in both German and English.

Education

Completed degree in Physics or similar field

Experience

  • Professional experience in international small and large projects
  • Extensive knowledge in creating scientific accuracy analyses and EMC analyses
  • Experience handling international standards (e.g., EN, IEC) and nuclear regulations (e.g., RCC-E, KTA)
  • Experience in technical leadership of up to 3 engineers
