Job Summary

This role involves joining an innovative IT team within a university setting, focusing on shaping its digital future. The specialist will primarily handle First and Second-Level IT Support, including processing and documenting written support requests using a ticketing system (OTRS), analyzing issues, and providing solutions. Key responsibilities also include answering the telephone hotline, offering direct on-site user support, and efficiently prioritizing and dispatching requests. A crucial part of the job involves contributing to knowledge management by creating, maintaining, and optimizing help articles in the CMS (Statamic) and developing user tutorials. The ideal candidate must have an IT-related educational background, strong service orientation, and affinity for technology, working proactively and goal-oriented, predominantly on-site, as part of a 50% part-time, three-year fixed-term contract.
