Job Summary
This role involves supporting the ten-person team at the Emsdetten wastewater treatment plant, contributing significantly to environmental protection through water purification. The facility is currently undergoing modernization to become energy-autonomous and greenhouse gas-neutral. The Electronics Technician will primarily focus on the operation and monitoring of plant processes, alongside the essential maintenance and repair of machinery and specialized wastewater technology equipment. A key component of the job is the documentation and evaluation of operational data. Candidates must possess a completed vocational qualification as an Electrician, ideally with a focus on operational technology, and demonstrate good IT skills to manage the increasingly digital systems. The position requires mandatory participation in a mostly digital on-call duty rotation to ensure continuous plant function, as well as physical mobility to perform tasks in non-barrier-free environments.
