Job Summary

This role seeks a dedicated PLC Maintenance and Automation Technician to ensure maximum system availability for complex, PLC-controlled conveyor and storage systems in Halberstadt. Key responsibilities include performing maintenance, inspection, and repair activities, primarily focusing on troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and software issues using Siemens S7 / TIA-Portal controls during shift, night, and weekend operations. The technician will be crucial in optimizing PLC programs for performance enhancement, conducting predictive maintenance routines, and meticulously documenting all service actions in compliance with ISO 9001 and DGUV V3 standards. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in reading technical drawings and schematics, possess strong automation technology skills, and be committed to continuous improvement processes (KVP) and rigorous adherence to EHS guidelines.
