Job Summary

The Energy Portfolio and Forecasting Analyst will be crucial in advancing the company's energy strategy by taking responsibility for the development, IT implementation, and parameterization of advanced forecast models for electricity, gas, and district heating. A core daily task involves developing precise forecast algorithms utilizing modern machine learning methods, such as neural networks and transformers. The role requires continuous monitoring and optimization of portfolio forecasts, ensuring data quality, and managing individual energy portfolios, including acting as a deputy manager for all portfolios when necessary. This position involves close collaboration with IT teams to drive automation and digitalization solutions within the forecasting and portfolio management processes. Candidates must hold a university degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Administration, possess deep knowledge of the liberalized energy market value chain, and demonstrate strong skills in statistics, algorithmic thinking, and programming, ideally using Python. Required Skills
