Job Summary

The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany's National Metrology Institute, is seeking a Research Scientist to join an EU-funded international cooperation project focused on improving the quality of measurements using industrial Computed Tomography (CT). Day-to-day responsibilities involve conducting and evaluating CT measurements, specifically determining the Detail Detection Sensitivity. A crucial aspect of the role is coordinating an international Round-Robin Test involving the project consortium and external stakeholders, followed by comprehensive evaluation, presentation, and publication of the scientific results. Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or a related engineering field, possess knowledge of Coordinate Metrology (ideally industrial CT), and demonstrate strong experimental skills. Experience
