Job Summary

The Site Specialist is responsible for ensuring the continuous availability and correct management of essential laboratory supplies, reagents, and materials at the client site in Ludwigshafen. Daily activities involve comprehensive supply chain management, including ordering, receiving, and replenishing consumables using systems like KanBan, maintaining precise inventory records, conducting stock checks, and monitoring expiration dates. A key focus is on documentation, labeling (including barcoding) of materials, and coordinating internal and external shipments, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and site SOPs. The ideal candidate possesses a technical or commercial background with experience in laboratory or supply chain operations, strong organizational skills, and fluency in German.
