Job Summary

This role is based at the Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), Germany's National Metrology Institute, in Braunschweig. The Student Developer will join the Internal Services department to contribute to the digital transformation of internal processes. The primary focus involves the conception and ongoing development of a Webshop and Resource Management System, which is the initial module of a larger digital platform designed to simplify the planning and execution of internal and external events. Day-to-day responsibilities include developing and implementing new features using web technologies and actively contributing creative ideas to the team. The ideal candidate is currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor's or Master's program (Computer Science or Media Informatics), possesses foundational knowledge in core web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP), and is a communicative, team-oriented individual who enjoys working independently and taking ownership. This position offers valuable, study-complementary practical experience in a leading research environment with flexible working hours.

Required Skills

Education

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science, Media Informatics, or comparable field.

Experience
