Job Summary

This role is ideal for an experienced Electrician or Electronics professional looking to transition into a dynamic IT environment, focusing specifically on critical passive network infrastructure support in Nuremberg. Day-to-day responsibilities include accepting, recording, and evaluating customer requirements related to network infrastructure. You will be responsible for controlling and coordinating external service providers, meticulously testing both fiber and copper connections according to client specifications, and ensuring accurate documentation of all changes and processes within the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate holds a vocational qualification as an Electrician or Electronics Technician and possesses foundational IT knowledge, particularly in network technology (LAN, fiber optics, patch panels). Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage external vendors are essential, alongside fluent German language skills (minimum B2 level).
