Job Summary

This permanent, full-time Facility Manager role is based directly at Frankfurt Airport, focusing on the technical services for buildings and facilities, specifically within Sanitary, Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (SHK) technology. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting maintenance, inspection, and repair tasks according to DIN 31051, with a primary focus on sanitary and ventilation systems. Day-to-day activities include installing fixtures in sanitary rooms and kitchenettes, analyzing faults, documenting work in mobile IT systems, and performing preventative flushing for drinking water hygiene. The role requires flexibility for shifted day schedules (approx. 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM) and occasional night shifts. Key requirements include a completed vocational training as a Plant Mechanic SHK or equivalent, knowledge of relevant industry standards (ideally VDI 6023/6022 Cat. Experience

  • Professional experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair activities according to DIN 31051
  • Experience with maintenance in adjacent trades (e.g., fire dampers, sprinklers)
  • Experience in fault analysis and deriving appropriate repair services
