Job Summary

This role is for a specialized Development Engineer focused on driving innovation in electric machine design for the automotive and aerospace industries. The successful candidate will be responsible for the independent electromagnetic design of electric machines, utilizing the JMAG simulation software extensively. Key daily tasks include the analysis, evaluation, and interpretation of characteristic maps to optimize E-machine performance and geometry, alongside the development and validation of new design concepts that meet strict functional and technical requirements. This position requires close collaboration with adjacent technical departments, including mechanics, thermal management, and power electronics. Applicants must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering and possess demonstrable experience in the electromagnetic design of various machine types, such as synchronous, asynchronous, or reluctance machines.
