Job Summary

This role involves working directly with a vehicle manufacturer, focusing on the development and integration of complex vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses. The successful candidate will serve as the crucial link between the customer and internal development teams, ensuring all technical requirements are met and coordinating changes regarding installation space and product modifications. Key daily tasks include independently executing CAD tasks related to wiring harnesses (e.g., brackets, ducts), rigorously reviewing change requests for functionality, cost, and weight impact, and actively participating in risk analyses (DFMEA). The position requires strong expertise in vehicle networking (KSK & nKSK) and the use of specialized diagnostic and development tools. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer with a background in the VW Group environment to drive innovation in automotive electrical design and support international production start-ups.
