Job Summary

This role is based in Düsseldorf at Dynavax GmbH, a specialized biotechnology company focusing on vaccine development and production within the Dynavax Technologies Corporation group. The Chemical Laboratory Technician will join the Engineering Team on a 24-month fixed-term contract, focusing primarily on ensuring the operational readiness of laboratory equipment and analytical instruments in a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment. Day-to-day tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, managing calibration activities, and overseeing external service providers. A critical component of the job is ensuring strict adherence to GMP and safety guidelines, documenting all maintenance activities, and providing technical support to production and quality departments. The ideal candidate holds a qualification as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant/CTA) and possesses a strong technical affinity for laboratory systems, coupled with excellent German communication skills, ensuring quality and compliance are maintained at the highest level.
