This role involves supporting the training of future Chemical Laboratory Technicians at a leading German university. The assistant is primarily responsible for planning and organizing the vocational training curriculum, providing practical guidance, and conducting theoretical instruction in subjects such as Lab Technology, Chemistry, and Mathematics. A crucial component of the role is ensuring the proper maintenance of laboratory equipment and rigorously monitoring adherence to safety and occupational health regulations. Candidates must hold a completed qualification as a State-certified Chemical-Technical Assistant or Chemical Laboratory Technician, coupled with strong expertise in chemistry, synthesis, and instrumental-analytical devices. The position requires didactic skills, a service-oriented approach, and a passion for mentoring trainees, offering the chance to contribute to high-level education and research.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as a State-certified Chemical-Technical Assistant (CTA) OR Completed training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician with equivalent qualifications.

Experience

  • Professional experience in planning and organizing chemical laboratory training programs.
  • Professional experience in practically instructing and guiding trainees (Chemical Laboratory Technicians).
  • Experience in handling, operating, and maintaining instrumental-analytical devices.
  • Professional experience ensuring compliance with occupational safety and health regulations in a laboratory setting.
