This critical role involves executing day-to-day operations in the aseptic preparation and processing of solutions for injectable systems, supporting the global supply of medicines used to treat serious conditions like Multiple Sclerosis and cancer. Key responsibilities include preparing active and buffer solutions, which entails thawing active ingredients, accurately weighing raw materials, adjusting pH levels, and performing filtration. The technician is vital for maintaining the highest quality standards by continuously monitoring cleanroom conditions, executing in-process controls (IPC), and meticulously cleaning and disinfecting the work area. A major requirement is generating detailed, GMP-compliant documentation for all tasks. Candidates must possess a relevant technical qualification, such as a Pharmaceutical Specialist (Pharmakant), CTA, BTA, PTA, MTA, or an IHK Specialist Certificate for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing. Required Skills

Education

Completed training/apprenticeship as a Pharmaceutical Technical Assistant (PTA), Chemical Technical Assistant (CTA), Biological Technical Assistant (BTA), Medical Technical Assistant (MTA), Pharmaceutical Specialist (Pharmakant), or technical training (e.g., Dairy Technologist, Brewer, Maltster). Alternatively, completed training combined with the IHK Specialist Certificate for Pharmaceutical Manufacturing.

Experience

  • Professional experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing or a related technical field (e.g., chemistry, biology, medical technology)
  • Experience in preparing solutions and handling raw materials
  • Experience with cleanroom procedures and quality monitoring
  • Demonstrated reliable and careful work ethic with strong quality consciousness
