Job Summary

This is an impactful leadership opportunity for an experienced Technical Services Manager to oversee field service, field applications, and technical support operations across the DACCS region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Slovak Republic) for a global leader in specialty diagnostics. The successful candidate will manage, coach, and develop a team of technical specialists and engineers, ensuring operational excellence in the maintenance, repair, and installation of In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) systems at customer sites. A critical component of the role is taking full ownership of the local service Profit & Loss (P&L), including budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning, while driving compliance with quality and regulatory standards. Candidates must possess strong business and financial acumen, excellent communication skills, and fluency in both German and English. This field-based position in Germany requires significant travel (up to 40%) to ensure exceptional customer service and support continued business growth.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering or clinical laboratory science

Experience

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within field service or field applications management
  • Demonstrated experience in managing a service Profit & Loss (P&L), including budget and resource planning
  • Professional experience in the In Vitro Diagnostics (IVD) industry (ideal)
  • Experience in project management (beneficial)
