Job Summary
The Municipality of Mühltal is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to take on the strategic role of Utility Coordination Specialist within the Infrastructure department. This position is crucial for establishing and managing the local infrastructure system, focusing specifically on coordinating street excavations and utility routes for water, sewage, gas, electricity, and broadband. Day-to-day tasks involve the strategic planning of infrastructure routes, maintaining the official excavation register, processing and technically reviewing utility provider applications, and ensuring quality control and acceptance of surface restoration following construction. The specialist also acts as the client representative for public drinking water and wastewater projects. Key requirements include a university degree (Master/Diplom) in Civil Engineering with relevant specialization (e.g., Deep Construction or Infrastructure Management), practical project management experience in civil engineering, and profound knowledge of German regulatory standards (VOB, HOAI, DWA). This challenging part-time role (19.5 hours/week) offers high autonomy, flexible hours, and stable public sector employment.

Experience
- Professional experience in case handling and project management in deep construction (Tiefbau)
- Comprehensive knowledge of planning, tendering, and awarding construction projects for pipeline and sewer systems
- Experience in construction supervision and billing/settlement of public infrastructure measures
