Job Summary

The IT Coordinator will play a pivotal role in the planning, steering, and implementation of Artificial Intelligence (AI) projects within the Hessian Tax Administration's TECLION AI Competence Center in Kassel. This position focuses on driving the digital transformation of public administration by coordinating collaboration in nationwide working groups, particularly concerning AI-supported IT solutions. Key responsibilities include analyzing existing processes, identifying potential AI applications, and developing innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and quality. The coordinator will utilize modern, agile project management methods, establish standards, and represent the administration in federal committees (KONSENS projects), ensuring alignment between technical development teams and specialist departments. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Informatics or a related field, possesses experience in IT process coordination, ideally related to AI, and demonstrates strong communication skills and an agile mindset to navigate complex, interdisciplinary environments.
