Job Summary
This role seeks a Senior PHP Developer to strengthen the backend capabilities of an innovative digital commerce partner, focusing on high-impact projects rather than agency work. Day-to-day responsibilities include advanced programming using PHP 8 and Symfony, intricate data modeling, developing scalable interfaces (REST, GraphQL), and optimizing performance across the platform. A key component of the job is integrating critical systems like PIM, CMS, CRM, and ERP, while ensuring code quality through rigorous testing, documentation, and code reviews. Candidates must bring at least 2–3 years of professional PHP experience, expertise in scalable architectures, and strong communication skills. This position offers a permanent contract, flexible full-time or part-time options, a hybrid work model based in Hamburg, and the opportunity to work directly with the CTO, allowing for genuine technical contribution and mentorship of junior colleagues.
