Job Summary

This role is based at a leading applied construction research institute, focusing on developing cutting-edge measurement and control solutions for innovative construction projects, such as 3D concrete printing and material recycling. Day-to-day tasks involve the adaptation of sensor technology, the design of simple electronic circuits and controls, and extensive programming of measurement and control systems using tools like LabVIEW, C/C++, Raspberry Pi, and Arduino. The engineer will be responsible for capturing and evaluating process variables via analog/digital signals and fieldbuses (e.g., Modbus/TCP, RS485). Successful candidates must hold a degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation, or Computer Science, coupled with practical experience in signal processing and prototype electronics development. Experience
