Job Summary

This role involves the independent management and supervision of the Chemistry Laboratory within the “Nanostructuring for Nano-Optics” research group at the Institute for Applied Physics. The successful candidate will be responsible for the full lifecycle management of laboratory materials, including procurement, cataloging, safe storage, and disposal of chemicals. Key day-to-day duties include coordinating safety protocols, manufacturing lithography resists, and providing essential technical consultation and support to research staff on chemical and lithography processes. This position is critical for supporting ongoing research projects and involves active participation in the preparation and potential execution of practical courses. A background as a Technical Assistant or a degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering is required, along with experience in lab operations and safety measures.
